Keanda railway signal cable monitoring system is based on the railway signal cable insulation to the ground, insulation between wires, core wire ring resistance, temperature and humidity in the box, light sensitivity, vibration, water immersion, ground perfor-mance of the underground lead wire, ground current and temperature of cable primary/secondary end armor and aluminum sheath, by monitoring electrical parameters and environmental conditions, the cable status diagnosis, fault identification and positioning and comprehensive management is realized, which is conducive to improving the efficiency and quality of railway signal cable technical management and maintenance, compressing fault delay, and providing favorable guarantee for cable fault emergency treatment.

Cable parameters and working condition monitoring system includes three functions, working condition monitoring, cable end monitoring, cable box and outdoor environment monitoring.The system monitors the electrical parameters, insulation parameters, outdoor environment parameters, terminal grounding, temperature and outdoor box environment of the spare core wire of the railway cable online. Through big data analysis, the system can grasp the working status and change trend of the cable at any time, and prevent possible faults.
● Spare core cable monitoring: drive cable working condition collection unit and relay combination through cable working condition monitoring instructions in the signal building, select different spare core wires, and complete cable working condition data and cable length data collection. Cable working conditions include: broken wire, mixed wire, ground insulation and so on. When the cable core wire end is connected, the core wire loop DC resistance value can be real-time monitored, and recorded, displayed, judged and analyzed, when the resistance value exceeds the threshold value, it will give an early warning or alarm.
● Cable box working condition monitoring: real-time collection of outdoor environment temperature, humidity values, and record, display. Real-time collection of the internal environmental parameters of each box: temperature, humidity, light sensitivity, vibration, water immersion, underground lead grounding performance parameters, and record and display. Alarm or early warning when the parameter exceeds the threshold value.
● Cable end grounding monitoring: real-time monitoring of temperature and lightning strike situation of the ground current connection of primary/secondary end armor and aluminum sheath of the cable in the signal building, and can test by row/cable, and record, display, judge and analyze, and give early warning or alarm when the current and temperature exceed the threshold value.
● Terminal monitoring system software: drive the combination of cable working condition collection unit and relay through cable insulation test instructions in the signal building, select different spare cores, and complete the collection of cable insulation data by using 500V voltage. Cable insulation includes ground insulation and cable insulation.
